2 Day Trip to Cairo and Luxor from El Quseir

You will be picked up from your hotel in El Quseir then transferred to El Quseir Airport for short flight to Cairo .You will be picked up from Cairo airport by our Trip guide to enjoy a great excursion to The Pyramids of Giza ( Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus )Then proceed to visit the Great the Great Sphinx is one of the world's largest monuments. It is also one of the most recognizable relics of the ancient Egyptians. Sphinx and visit the Valley Temple.

Giza Pyramid Complex:
The complex includes three main pyramids, six little pyramids, the great sphinx, and the Valley Temple. The complex dates back to the 4th dynasty 2400 years B.C.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid and served as the tomb of pharaoh Khufu, who ruled during the Fourth Dynasty. The Great Pyramid :
It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids of the Giza plateau and the only one to remain intact from the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. The height of the Great Pyramid is 147m, the number of stones used in construction is 2,300,000 and it took twenty years to be built.

The Great the Great Sphinx is one of the world's largest monuments. It is also one of the most recognizable relics of the ancient Egyptians. Sphinx :
It is the largest statue in the world, standing at 73 m. long, 19 m. wide, and 20 m in height. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture.

The Valley Temple:
A Granite mortuary temple was used by Ancient Egyptians for the mummification process and this is the only remaining one at the Giza plateau.

Then you will move on to the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented.
 

If you wish to visit the mummy's royal hall, where you will have the feeling of strolling down the  Used as a burial chamber for nearly 500 years, the Valley of the Kings was used for royal burials for the Kings,their families, and their possessions. Valley of the Kings  where most of these mummies were originally resting then ask your Tripguide to take you to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. It will cost 50 $ Extra per person.

Museum in Giza, Egypt, housing archaeological artifacts from thousands of years of human civilization in Egypt The Grand Egyptian Museum   (GEM) is currently in its trial opening phase, which began in October 2024. Visitors can explore several key sections, including the Great Hall, the Grand Staircase, and 12 main galleries showcasing artifacts from various periods of Egyptian history. However, some sections, such as the   Tutankhamun, ruled as a boy only for a short time. He is most famous because his tomb was discovered almost intact and full of treasures in 1922 Tutankhamun   galleries, remain closed and will be accessible upon the museum's full official opening, which is expected at a later date​​​​​​.

Tickets for the trial phase are available, with pricing varying for Egyptians and foreign visitors. The museum operates daily, with extended hours on weekends. It's advisable to plan for a half-day visit to fully enjoy the open areas

The New Grand Museum is not officially open yet. It will be opened officially by the end of  2024.but if you wish to visit it we offer limited Trips to test site readiness and the visitor experience ahead of the official opening. Access is currently limited to the Grand Hall, commercial area, and exterior gardens. All other interior paces, including access to the galleries and collections, are restricted until the official opening. You will be transferred to Cairo airport for a short flight to Luxor- Transfer to Your Hotel in Luxor.

Karnak Temple:

No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak . It is the largest temple complex ever built by man and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and pharaohs. The Valley of kings:

The Valley of Kings is The final resting place of Egypt's rulers from the 18th to 20th dynasty, it is home to tombs including the great pharaoh Ramses II and boy pharaoh Tutankhamen.
he tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs still well preserved.

Hatshepsut Temple:

It is one of the most beautiful & best preserved of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.

Colossi of Memnon are two massive monumental stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1353 BCE) from the 18th Dynasty of ancient Egypt. Colossi of Memnon :
Two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple.
The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which exist in Cairo then moved 700 KM to Luxor
