Starting from the south in Ajloun, to Anjara to visit the church of our lady of the mount where they say it’s built around a cave, where by tradition Jesus, the Virgin Mary and the disciples rested during a trip between Jerusalem and Galilee. Then going to tel Mar Elias visiting the church of mar Elias where it’s said that the prophet Elijah or in Arabic Elias. Leaving Ajloun to head to the dead sea to visit the baptism site, (Al-Maghtas) the site is believed to be the location where Jesus of Nazareth was baptized by John the Baptist. Our next step well is the famous mount Nebo, to witness the beautiful views, visiting the memorial church of Moses. Taking an hour drive from madaba to head Mukawir was the scene of a Roman siege during the first Jewish revolt against Rome. The site is easily reached by car from Madaba. To end our trip with it, then going again to Amman.
