Day 1 Amman Airport − Amman

Welcome to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan! Our representative meets you with a signage in front of the immigration Amman Airport. Get to know your friendly, English speaking chauffeur. 45 minutes transfer to your hotel in Amman to check-in.

Day 2- Jerash and the Dead sea from Amman

After Breakfast 

Distance: 58 min (50.7 km) Today you will make a tour north starting from Jerash.The ancient city of Jerash is one of the most popular attractions in Jordan behind Petra.

It is considered one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside of Italy and its history goes back more than 6,500 years. The city's golden age came under Roman rule, during which time it was known as Gerasa, and the site is now generally acknowledged to be one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. In Jerash you will explore Jerash Archaeological Museum, south theatre, north theatre, nymphaeum, cathedral, colonnaded street, oval plaza, hippodrome.

 

Distance: 31 min (18.8 km)
The second destination today will be Ajloun castle: more formally known as Qal'at Ar-Rabad,towers above the green hills of Ajloun and can be seen from many miles away, betraying its
strategic purpose as a military watch post that protected the trade routes in the 12th-15th centuries. It was first built in 1184 by one of Saladin's generals, Izzeldin Usama, to repel the
Crusader threats to north Jordan.

Also, get ready for an amazing visit to Umm Qais ; was once the thriving Roman city of Gadara. Today the area is home to magnificent ruins which draw thousands of visitors each year. Due to its hilltop location, Umm Qais is a perfect destination for absorbing the picturesque views of the Jordan Valley. There are many Roman sites at Umm Qais including two ancient theatres.

Day 3- Amman – Petra visit – Wadi Rum visit -Wadi Rum overnight

Pick up from your Hotel Accmmodation in Amman at 7 a.m.Then Head to Petra where  you will start by adventuring through the Petra Seeq (canyon) either on foot or you can choose to enjoy a short horse ride leading you to “Al Khazneh”. Known to be one of the seven wonders of the world. Just try to grasp the fact that the Arab Nabateans, more than 2000 years ago, carved this 45m high monument Treasury into the red mountain rock.Free time to have lunch or buy some souvenirs ( At your own expense) Your journey will then continue to your last stop in south of Jordan, to the most impressive deserts in the world. Join a 2 hour jeep tour and get to see the naturally multi-colored canyons, towering sandstone mountains and dunes of Wadi Rum, known as the Valley of the Moon & made famous for being used as a background setting for numerous films (“The Martian”-2015, “Rogue One”-2016, “Aladdin”-2019, just to name a few…).Finally, you’ll reach the Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp, located inside the protected area, where you can sit back, relax or even meditate, away from the city noise. You’ll end your day with a Dinner & your accommodation for the night will be in Wadi Rum.

On this day you will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World (Petra), Take in the captivating splendor of Jordan's most famous landmark, the rose-red City of Petra, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk through the magnificent Siq, a tiny canyon with towering rocks on either side that serves as the dramatic entrance to Petra, for the first 700 meters of your exploration.

Also, you will explore the little Petra (Beidha): is a fascinating site due it the similarities with Petra. Like the ancient city of Petra, Al Beidha is constructed behind a narrow canyon which acts as a passageway. The Cold Siq of Al Beidha is slightly smaller than The Siq at Petra and visitors will need to hike through it to reach the ruins of Little Petra. The cliffs that surround the ruins of Little Petra are eroded by wind and are very interesting to see. There are many broken tablets located around the site which dates to the Neolithic period.

Distance: 1 hr. 40 min (104.6 km) Here you will experience a night under the stars and enjoy a full desert vibe, where you can see the sunset while taking a jeep safari tour and then enjoy the Bedouin party & traditional dinner called Zarb. Enjoy the night at your camp!

Day 4: Wadi Rum – Madaba Visit – Mount Nebo Visit -Dead Sea visit – Amman overnight

Distance: 42 min (35.8 km) On this day, you will make a tour in Madaba; is a combination of rural home life and a hot spot for religious tourism. Known as the “City of Mosaics”, Madaba is the cultural epicentre for Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Just a short distance from the capital, visitors are just a stone's throw away from the holy monuments of religious iconography. During your stay in Madaba you will visit St George’s Church: This rather modest 19th-century Greek Orthodox church houses a treasure of early Christianity. Imagine the excitement in 1884 when Christian builders came across the remnants of a Byzantine church on their construction site. Among the rubble, having survived wilful destruction, fire and neglect, the flooring they discovered wasn’t just another mosaic but one with extraordinary significance: to this day, it represents the oldest map of Palestine in existence and provides many historical insights into the region

 

Distance: 15 min (9.0 km) Then you’ll heading to Mount Nebo: Mount Nebo is the highest point in the ancient Kingdom of Moab, referenced in Abrahamic texts as the site of Mount Nebo this township was first inhabited by a Christian nomadic tribe in the 4th century. Explore your religious roots in the religious town or visit Mt. Nebo where it is believed that Moses died as he viewed the Holy Land. "And Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho

 

Then, you will take a wonderful journey to the Dead Sea, also known as the lowest point on Earth. You will spend the day relaxing by the sea. Trying the mineral-rich mud and floating in the water of the Dead Sea

Day 5-Amman attractions

Start your round trip with the 3 most visited Desert Castles in eastern Jordan. Qasr Kharanah is built like a fortress. Qasr Amra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is notable for its zodiac dome and the early examples of Omayyad fresco paintings. The black basalt fort Qasr Azraq had been the base of Lawrence of Arabia in the winter of 1917. Back in the capital continue to the historical places in downtown Amman. You start with the visit of the Citadel to enjoy views over the hilly capital. On the Citadel itself you see remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period, like the Hercules Temple and the Umayyad Palace, and the small Archaeological Museum. Not far away we find the Roman Theatre, which can accommodate up to 6,000 visitors. In the heart of downtown we stroll the markets (Souq), where to find fruit, vegetables, spices, herbs, clothes, household goods and more. Overnight in Amman

Day 6- International departure

Dependent on your departure time, the driver meets you in the hotel lobby and takes you 4 hours to Amman Airport to say goodbye and board your flight.
