In 1881 the Greatest mummy find in history was made Just south of Deir el Bahari in the Tomb number 320. a massive shaft containing the mummies of 40 Pharaohs, Queens, and Nobles. It seems that new kingdom priests realized that the bodies of their Pharaohs would never be safe from Violations in their tombs. so they moved them after 934 B.C. to this communal grave.
