The Kafr El-Sheikh Museum, situated near Kafr El-Sheikh University, is a valuable collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and culture. After undergoing a renovation and restoration project, the museum reopened in 2020 and has since become a popular destination for tourists worldwide. On October 31, 2023, the museum commemorated its 3rd anniversary, symbolizing its commitment to safeguarding and exhibiting Egypt's diverse cultural legacy. The history of Kafr El Sheikh Governorate is significant in the ancient Egyptian civilization. It was the home of Bhutto, the capital of Lower Egypt, before King Menes or Narmer united ancient Egypt. Following this, King Narmer established the 1st dynasty and built the first capital of united ancient Egypt, known as Memphis was one of the oldest and most important cities in ancient Egypt, located at the entrance to the Nile River Valley near the Giza plateau. The concept of creating a museum in Kafr El Sheikh dates back to 1993, and the construction project started in 2002. The museum showcases the rich history of Kafr El Sheikh Governorate through various collections found at the Great Bhutto Cemetery and the temple area. These collections are divided into three halls.

The archaeological museum has around 3 halls. One of the halls is called Boto and it displays a collection of ancient artifacts from the Pharaohs Hill. The main exhibition hall is divided into several sections based on different historical periods, including the Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Coptic, and Islamic eras. There is also a special hall for periodic shows, where various exhibitions and dynamic displays are held.

This myth symbolizes the ancient Egyptian belief in the battle between good and evil, and its connection to concepts like kingship, resurrection, and immortality. Through various artifacts, the museum vividly portrays the major deities involved in this ancient myth.
